Jays’ Faves…May Edition

May has pretty much ended. That means Summer is right around the corner. The days are getting longer, the sun is setting later and clothes are slowly peeling off our bodies. Evidence of new beginnings as people get themselves out of a hibernation. New habits are being formed while old habits are being sorted out and decluttered.

Clean eating habits, hydration and upping the hygiene game were among my focus for May. I’ve been to a few events that focused on wellness, and I have acquired some products that get my stamp of approval for being great contributors to your wellness life.

Let’s get to it!

Asobu Insulated Portable Cold Brewer

$50, Asobubottle.com & Amazon.com

When I first heard about cold brewing, I was confused as to how this method was accomplished. I then came across a hack using a mason jar and coffee filters, which I thought was cool. I learned about the Asobu Cold Brewer at the International Home and Housewares NYC Show back in January. It’s more than just a brewer…It comes with an insulated carafe, which will keep the cold brew cold for up to 24 hours.  I tried it a few times and I absolutely love it. While I am not an avid coffee drinker, I do drink Iced Coffee during the Summer Months. The couldn’t be a more handy device. No wonder Oprah chose this as one of her favorite things of last year.

Check out the video on how this works:

Waterpik® Water Flosser With Whitening

$80, Waterpik.comAmazon.com

I’ve always wanted a Waterpik device. My teeth are so close together (especially the back ones) it’s difficult to floss them…whether with regular floss or one of those floss sticks. I jumped at the opportunity to try out the Waterpik® Water Flosser With Whitening, which launched back in February. It has a compartment for a special whitening tablet that will whiten in between teeth as you water floss. It truly is a great device and I didn’t think they would do anything more innovative…

They did…but that’s for a future post.

Manna Hydration™ Retro Air Water Bottle

$15. Mannahydration.com

Like the Asobu, I learned about Manna Hydration at the International Home and Housewares Press Event in January. I have to say, I love this water bottle. It really does live up to its promise. Tested out it’s coldness on my Instagram stories (pre-highlights tab)…it was just as cold as it was when I filled it up.

Do you own any of my picks for May, or facsimile thereof? What are your faves for May?

Until next time,
